The alder body has a very thin and straight grain with no figure. The Sunburst finish has a strong black border that bleeds into a very rich and smokey red while fading to a nice golden orange. Fenders modern "C" neck profile leans towards the skinnier side with not much shoulder. The rosewood fingerboard has lots of light striping
