Antique French Louis XV Cylinder Marquetry & Ormolu Bureau Writing Desk 1880 Sold life became increasingly difficult forA very elegant antique French Louis XV style inlaid Kingwood cylinder bureau, desk, circa 1870. This very fine serpentine or bombe shaped desk is finely inlaid with parquetry panels to the sides and the cylinder roll. To the top are three drawers, below the cylinder roll encloses a fitted interior with six drawers, below is a slide out writing surface fitted with a tooled and gilded chocolate brown leather writing surface. Below are four short and one
