Constructed of lead, with an integral suspension loop, the obverse with a depiction of the internment camp at Douglas, within a barbed wire wreath, topped by a Manx triskelion, the reverse with a central raised inscription of ERINNERUNG AN DIE KRIEGSHAFT (MOMENTO OF THE WAR CAMP), topped by an inscription of WELTKRIEG 1914 1916 (WORLD WAR 1914 1916) and above an inscription of DOUGLAS, ISLE OF MAN, measuring
