Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse with a central laurel wreath overlaid by a magnetic metal Luftwaffe eagle in mid flight clutching a mobile swastika, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, with dual loops accommodating a hanger bearing a central radiant star flanked by laurel leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, with a central
